The Wychavon Youth Bus is a mobile multi-use drop in space for young people between the ages of 11-17. This mobile bus is mainly used in rural areas of Worcester and provides a range of activities and information for children and young adults. The Wychavon Youth Bus has been running since 2010 as a mobile multi-use drop in space for young people between the ages of 11-17. The bus offers a range of drop in style activities along with a variety of information on a range of topics and issues to promote healthy lifestyles for young people. The bus offers a Wii, Xbox kinect, TV/ DVD alongside various art equipment, games and much more. Thanks to Point Systems, the children now have access to the internet and it has been used frequently. As well as the internet being used for gaming, the leaders of this youth bus have also used the satellite technology to inform the young people about health issues, lifestyle changes and emotional behaviours. As the pictures show below, the bus is used by many young adults, who enjoy access to this new technology.
